Cameroon’s manufacturing sector contributed steadily to GDP over the past three decades, with a peak at 17.0% in 1994. Throughout the 2000s, contributions stabilized around 15%, supported by gradual industrialization and structural reforms. However, from 2015 onwards, the share declined to around 13% by 2022, influenced by economic diversification challenges and regional instability.
