Manufacturing Sector Contribution to GDP in Ukraine (1990-2022)

In Ukraine, the manufacturing sector’s GDP share peaked in the early 1990s, starting at 44.6% in 1992 but sharply declining to 7.6% by 2022. Economic restructuring and political instability contributed to the decline, especially after 2014. Although temporary recoveries occurred, systemic challenges and global economic pressures continue to restrict manufacturing's role in GDP.
